📍 Crowborough-based | Monday–Friday, 7:30am–3:30pm
A clear system. A straightforward job. A team that rewards consistency.
We’re looking for someone who wants to do a solid day’s work, earn fair pay, and be part of a team that’s growing the right way. No coasting. No clock-watching. Just results.
This is a full-time, outdoor role covering residential and commercial sites across Kent & Sussex.
You’ll be:
Mowing, strimming, hedge cutting, and doing seasonal work – Mowing routes can be 15 – 30,000 steps per day
Working mostly solo on regular routes
Using a company-provided van (no van sharing once trained)
Managing your day via a smartphone for scheduling & time tracking
Starting and finishing at our yard in Crowborough (7:30am–3:30pm)
📅 March–December: Full-time schedule
📉 Winter (Jan–Feb): Reduced or no hours — top performers prioritised for available winter work
☔ Bad weather? We don’t mow in heavy rain. You’ll either switch to suitable tasks or finish early with the day rescheduled
You’re always paid for every minute you’re clocked in — no exceptions.
Clock in when you collect your work phone. Clock out when you return it.
That’s your guaranteed, paid time.
Earn “Budgeted Hours” (BH) by completing jobs. Each job has a fair time allowance — more BH = more bonus.
At the end of each day, we compare your two totals:
Time worked (at your hourly rate)
BH completed (performance pay)
You’re paid whichever is higher.
Once trained, the standard expectation is 6 BH/day, which means most operators hit bonus consistently. From there, the only way is up — higher BH days come from good planning, clean work, and consistent effort.
Scenario | Hourly Pay (at £15/hr) | P4P Earnings | You Get Paid |
---|---|---|---|
8 hours worked, 5 BH completed | £120 | £115 | £120 |
8 hours worked, 6 BH completed | £120 | £138 | £138 |
High-output day (7+ BH) | £120-£135 (dependant on efficiency) | £150+ | £150+ |
Top performers hit 7+ BH, depending on route density and conditions — but 6 BH/day is the standard benchmark once trained.
You’ll start with full support, riding alongside one of the founders or a senior team member while you learn the routes, tools, and systems.
Training Rate: £12.50/hour (~£100/day)
Training Period: 2–4 weeks (on average)
Post-Training Rate: £15/hour (~£120/day) + bonus
Most new hires are out running solo mowing routes within 2–4 weeks — and hitting bonus shortly after.
Rolled-up holiday pay (12.07%) paid monthly
Assigned company van (once trained)
All tools provided and regularly maintained
Uniform and PPE provided
Smartphone for scheduling and time tracking
Company pension
On-site parking
Profit sharing
1:1 support and ongoing training
✅ You’re reliable, punctual, and self-motivated

This job is not for someone who:
Is winding down their career and looking to coast
Hops between jobs every few months
Expects full pay for half days or partial effort
Needs constant supervision
We’re building a team of operators, not passengers.
We’re a small, committed team — currently just the two founders — building a business around honest work, high standards, and good people.
You’ll work directly with us, have real impact, and be part of something from the ground up.
Here, you’ll:
Know exactly how your pay is calculated
Get rewarded for the effort you put in
Avoid micro-management — your results speak for themselves
Help shape how we grow and operate going forward
