The Horder Centre in East Sussex is a leading orthopaedic specialist rated ‘outstanding’, one of the top independent acute hospitals in the country. We’re proud to partner with their in house facilities team.

Since 2023 we began to take on more responsibilities with the grounds maintenance. Progressing each year to include more areas and more services.

The Horder Centre has an ageing grounds team and outsource most of the labour intensive tasks to us.

Our contract works are a service level agreement to carry out routine planned preventive maintenance to reduce the reactive costs of the site.

Reactive costs can never be eliminated, the aim is to reduce them to a minor percentage of the overall contract cost.

Working Within Budget – Maximising Value

• Grass Cutting: Regularly maintaining amenity areas.

• Hedge and Shrub Trimming: Seasonal trimming to keep the borders in check and the flowering shrubs healthy.

• Weed Control: Careful and controlled use of chemical weed killer on hard surfaces.

• Leaf Clearance: Full property sweeps during the winter, clearing car parks and pathways

• Tree Care: Planned and emergency works

The Horder centre is a unique site in many ways, its location and setting have many opportunities for bio diversity improvements in the grounds. The Horder has strong initiatives in sustainability for their daily operations. working alongside them we look forward to the many site improvements we aim to bring.
